Eligibility Guidelines


Legacy Health Endowment grants shall be distributed solely and exclusively to support nonprofit, tax-exempt charitable healthcare facilities and clinics. The grants shall be used to fund direct healthcare services, wellness programs, health research, health education and public/private partnerships formed to improve the health of the residents in the LHE Community.


Geographic Focus

Legacy Health Endowment will provide funding and technical support for nonprofit healthcare facilities to create healthcare solutions within Stanislaus and Merced counties. The foundation limits its funding to 19 zip codes within the two counties. These zip codes are:

95380      95381      95382      95388

Funding Requirements

  • Nonprofit organization healthcare facility with tax-exempt status under 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Service Code (IRC)


What We Cannot Fund Through Grants

  • Requests that benefit an individual
  • Political causes, candidates or campaigns
